Peter's Shadow
Peter's faith has grown so much at this point that the church believes even his shadow can heal. This the same Peter who doubted so much when Christ was here on Earth. Why did Peter suddenly change so much? Why did such an ordinary person become Jesus's greatest supporters? Cause he saw the risen Christ, he was there. He saw the scars in his wrists and his feet. He saw the punctured wound in his side. He knows what the prize is for following Christ. He knows the power of Jesus when its spoken in public. He believes the Gospel. Funny thing is I dont think we realize we have the same authority and power that Peter has. The Holy Spirit works the same today has it did when Peter was alive. God loves using the ordinary to do the extraordinary.
