Salt creates thirst, enhances, and salt preserves.

1. Salt makes you Thirsty
- you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. However, you can mix salt into his oats, which causes him to
Become thirsty. We can't force people to enter into Christianity, but we let the love of God pour out of our lives in a way that makes the non believer become thirsty for it.

2. Salt enhances
- In some cases salt was used to enrich the soil before planting, basically fertilizer. The salt changed the character of the dirt in order for it to produce life. We must do the same while we are here on the earth. Fertilizer doesn't do much good if you just throw it on top of the ground. It must be mixed in with the dirt in order for the salt to change to character of the dirt...... You can see where I'm going with this.

3.Salt preserves
-salt was used to preserve meat. Te qualities of salt we stop the perishing process and keep the meat from
Spoiling. This world is rotting and as Christian we must preserve the lives that we come in contact with.
