Making God Look Like a Fool

So, I know that Saul not destroying the Amalekites may not seem like such a big deal - especially as if it's some kind of deal breaker. But the reality is that he is directly breaking the word of God. God promised Moses that he would blot out the Amalekites for them coming against a slave people in the dessert.

It totally makes sense. It is also interesting that God has waited this long to bring the judgement against Amalek. He is, indeed, long suffering - being patient, not wanting any to perish.
