Born or not Born

The verse I chose to work with was 1 John 5:18. It says “We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.” I drew a picture to represent this verse. My first picture is of a human and a circle around him representing his life. I decided to draw several things to represent different sins. I drew a picture of what I thought of when I read the sins. Then I took the word, which represents the specific sin, and wrote it as if it was penetrating the man’s life.
The second picture I drew was of a man and his life again. Except this time I drew some hands surrounding the man and his life. I then took the words I used in the previous picture and made them look like they were bouncing off of the man’s life. My point I am trying to make with these pictures is that Jesus will protect you and keep you from evil things that may come your way. If you have him he will keep you in his hands. They are around you and the evil cannot touch you, it cannot bring harm to you. Satan cannot get a grasp on you and hold onto you. Yes children of God still sin. We are human and cannot be perfect like Jesus, but we will never experience absolute moral defeat that non-Christians feel. The normal condition of a child of God is to resist evil and not be helpless slaves of sin. That is my interpretation of the verse.
