The story of Saul’s conversion is an amazing one. His encounter with God is spectacular, and his turnabout astounding.

The often overlooked part of the story is the obedience, trust and courage of Ananias. God speaks to him in the vision, and with only an “are you sure?” clarification, Ananias does what God tells Him to do. Humanly, this is a very dangerous situation, going to someone determined to arrest you, because of a vision. Yet, he does it, and is part of an amazing miracle as a result.

May I have the same courage to obey God’s voice and leading!
