God Gave Them Up

Rom 1:18-32 AMP
18 For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative.

19 For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.

20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], [Ps 19:1-4.]

21 Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves].

23 And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.

24  Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity,  to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin],

25 Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it). [Jer 2:11.]

26  For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions.  For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one,

27 And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.

28 And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing,  God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome,

29 Until they were filled (permeated and saturated) with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and covetous greed, and malice.  [They were] full of envy and jealousy, murder, strife, deceit and treachery, ill will and cruel ways. [They were] secret backbiters and gossipers,

30 Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance, [and] boasting; inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents.

31[They were] without understanding, conscienceless and faithless, heartless and loveless [and] merciless.

32 Though they are fully aware of God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves  but approve and applaud others who practice them.

Three times the Bible says God gives up hardened, rebellious people to 1/ strong passions for sex, 2/ vile passions for homosexuality, and are given up to 3/ a twisted mind that is excited and thinks it is natural to long for and do these evil things. “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk,  in the futility of their mind, 18 having  their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them,  because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling,  have given themselves over to lewdness,to work all uncleanness with greediness.” [Ephesians 4:17-19].

The mindset of a whole culture in this state is devastating to a nation. When the majority of people in a nation are captured by this mentality, culture disintegrates, and the results are hard hearted, selfish people, seeking pleasure and new thrills to satisfy their all consuming desires. Today in America, it is the post Christian era and the return of paganism, with a techno-pop culture wrapped in the fast lane of instant gratification. This is not new, but the return of ancient Greece and Rome, in a modern setting. Therefore, the Bible is more than adequate to supply Christians with answers on this age old dilemma.
Black and white is gone in the view of right and wrong, gray is the only color in most of America. “What is right for you, is not necessarily right for me,” most say. The Creator disagrees and America is facing severe judgment. Yes America suppresses the truth! Can you pray and talk about God in school? NO! All children are brainwashed in school with evolutionary doctrines of life, free immoral sexually expression is taught as normal, and they are encouraged  to create their own truth because there is no standard but what they decide is best for them.

The depraved minds of today have spent much time redefining the moral code as each successive generation of Americans have done, marching further and further from God. They reinterpret the law, rewrite our history, and include what was previously considered immoral and reject those old “straight laced," or old fashioned “rigid rules” of yester-year. The Bible is out, they make up their own rules to suit themselves. We are left with a guiltless and ruthless society of evil doers according to God’s Word, and many are stupid enough to think they are actually going to heaven when they die.

Adultery, sex outside of marriage, and homosexuality are all accepted, and many of these individuals go to church, or just believe in God in their “own way”, but are deceived to think God is with them. Be aware of this, rejecting God’s standards, as clearly stated in scripture, will bring you to hell, not heaven. Delusion of what is truth carries you into the real destruction of an angry and holy God. We beg you to turn from these lies and sins, and instead receive Christ’s way of forgiveness and salvation. He is the only way to heaven!

“Now just as Jannes and Jambres were hostile to and resisted Moses, so these men also are hostile to and oppose the Truth. They have  depraved and distorted minds, and are reprobate and counterfeit and to be rejected as far as the faith is concerned.” 2 Tim 3:8 (AMP) Many church goers have carried this evil into the church, but disguised with spiritual power and wisdom, they are destroying the name of Christ. Here Paul describes these reprobates as hostile to the truth. In Romans He describes the wicked culture as actively repressing and hindering the truth. The more you look at this the more the faithful need to see a growing conflict coming toward us. In the U.S., homosexual extremist forcibly try to silence and dominant the church. They are hostile, not tolerate to the followers of Jesus. Antichrist sentiment is in the air.
