God of Compassion
God really does throw our sins away. It is hard for me to comprehend because even when I forgive someone for hurting me, I still remember the past. Its not that I still hold it against them, but it is still there in my memory. I may have distrust of that person in the future because of things in the past. We hurt God all of the time with our sins but He has the ability to forgive and forget completely. He will "hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. "
I am so glad that our God is one of compassion, forgiveness, and grace.
