Attitude of the early Christian Church
It is interesting to note the language of the apostles when they are threatened.
They do not pray for the threat to stop, nor to be rescued from the threat, nor for them to defeat the threats, but instead boldness to continue preaching. Their whole attitude is counter-cultural, solely focussed on speaking God's word despite any persecution that comes their way.
It is certainly an inspiring and challenging attitude.
