The Lord is moved to compassion Jonah 3 and 4
I am amazed to read how the Lord's heart was moved to forgiveness when He saw the repentance of the people of Nineveh. This country from way back reminds me so much of our contemporary society, in the USA and any other countries where people are openly against God. If we only turned towards God He would certainly heal our land, our country, etc. The sad part is that even if Jonah went out and preached the same message today, very few people would listen to it and even fewer people would repent. I think we men, who are close to God, should bring the sins of our countries and confess them before God. Because of His merciful hearth He would forgive us.
