How Being BUSY Can Be Easy.
I've told many people this for a while, it's a response to the email forward from years ago that called BUSY - Being Under Satan's Yoke. According to this verse we are to Be Under the Son's Yoke, which an acronym lover like me also uses to spell BUSY...
Pastor Todd just mentioned this verse while preaching this morning and I prayed for this rest to be given to my wife too just the other night, as our two boys keep her quite busy!
I make a necessary distinction between busy and busy-ness... Because some people use an anti-busy mindset to justify laziness; however, work was the first thing instituted by God in the Garden of Eden- even before marriage!
Bottom line: if you're having a hard time being busy, and it's not working out; take a minute to consider who's yoke you're under. Because if it's the Son's yoke, we have this promise: it'll be easy!
