Moved
A personal prayer to God to remove my affliction.
Lord forgive me. I have walked silently in self-sufficiency for way too long. My personal assessment of my own talents and strengths far too often fails to recognize that all that I am comes from you for I was fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord you deserve all the glory and praise for all that I am and all that I have or will accomplish. I am nothing without you.
Forgive me for ungratefullness, and doubt, and bittness that led me to a deep pit that almost swallowed me up and destroyed my marriage. I praise you for delivering me from that pit and never letting go. I am so humbled by your mercy and forgiveness and restoration and blessings beyond compare.
And though my cup runneth over and my soul enjoys a deeper and closer relationship with you than I ever thought possible, my body can not sustain the agony of my affliction which deprives me of rest and tires both mind and body. Lord, I ask that you will feel my pain and be moved. I beg you to remove this affliction for your beloved's sake, and for your honor and glory. Free me from this pain so I can more fully serve you and seek your Kingdom.
