Christians today tend to try to balance things out, but in reality God cannot be balanced with our human things. I myself have been guilty of thinking that a person was right for me, but thank God they weren't. I would rather have somebody hand-picked by God than somebody that I thought was right for me. And it IS easier said than done, but in the words of my church's song leader:

--There are two ways to get closer to God, read your Bible and pray.--

And the closer you get to God, the easier it will be to let Him lead your life.
