My Assignment
As Paul asks, God answers, "Get up and do what you have been assigned to do." God knew the plans He had for Paul, just the same as He knows the plans He has for us. (see Jeremiah 29:11) We, like Paul, are "God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)
So what am I going to do today? Have a gotten with God to see what he has assigned for me today? Is my life being lived according to His overall assignment for me?
Lord, instruct me today; give me my assignment and the boldness to do it.
