Love your neighbor

Does anyone else find this as difficult as I do? The world is full of negativity and with that negative people. These negative people are the ones I find the most difficult to care for let alone love but, Jesus said Love your neighbor as yourself. I find myself after reading this being more friendly to strangers but, I still have a hard time being kind to those who refuse to be kind to me and others. Any suggestions?
