Fever!
When I get a fever, I lay in bed under some blankets and rest. I generally sleep for a day or so. At the end of that time the fever goes away and I'm better. However, a fever in the days of Jesus required a miracle of God to save a life from a fever. Why is that? When my fever goes away, is it a miracle of God? Was the fever in biblical times different than it is now?
ps. for those of you who don't know me, I'm not being sacrilegious. I'm just asking the questions that come to my mind while I read. It's always so interesting when you open yourself up to God's Word, what questions and thoughts come to mind. I think that's a great way to grow in our God.
