Promises...Promises.
It amazes me how at the end of the chapter God provided for David and fulfilled his promise by not allowing Saul to find him. God let Saul get right on him. You know David had to be freaking out! Thinking God what do I do now? You promised to protect me and now look! Do you ever wonder if maybe God lets us get to that place? That place where we are right there on the edge and then he just sweeps in and rescues us? I think maybe he does because it teaches us lessons in faith. God still came through for David even though he was doubting him and he was afraid. We serve an awesome God, who still loves us and comes through for us even when we don't believe he will sometimes.
