On The Side Lines Watching The Game

Youth camps always make me feel ways that I cant really explain. It's almost as if i'm at a football game cheering for the ones who made a change in their lives. If it's salvation for the first time or starting fresh I always find my self jumping up and down on the inside. But on the out side I feel as if I'm holding on to hope for them. They always seem to manage getting back in their old routine and losing what they found. As I read these 2 verses I'm reminded of this but I do believe that there are some who actually get it and are ready to make a difference in the world for the cause of Christ. These two verses are the pep rally for all of us who have been in this situation. 2 Corinthians 1:7-8 When we suffer for Jesus, it works out for your healing and salvation. If we are treated well, given a helping hand and encouraging word, that also works to your benefit, spurring you on, face forward, unflinching. Your hard times are also our hard times. When we see that you're just as willing to endure the hard times as to enjoy the good times, we know you're going to make it, no doubt about it.
This tells me when it becomes not easy any more on our Journey with Christ there's is hope. (when we suffer for Jesus) When we feel like there isn't any Jesus at all and you wonder why He could allow things to happen in our lives that just don't make since, there's peace. (Your hard times are also our hard times)
No matter where we are, at youth camp or at a turning place in our lives remember that when you're just as willing to endure the hard times as to enjoy the good times, know you're going to make it, no doubt about it.
