A chicken in every pot
What a testament to the wise rule of King Solomon. The people lived in safety and were well provided for from their own land ( the vine and the fig tree). Earlier in this chapter it states that though there were many people they ate, they drank, and they were happy. This is my definition of a good government. It focuses on keeping it's people safe, and supports their rights of private ownership so they can provide for themselves.
We've become too dependent on the government and the labor of others. We've lost control of the most basic need of humanity, our own food supply. And both the government and corporations are taking advantage. It's time we dropped out of this system and took back control.
