Organized
I am amazed at Solomon's organizing skills and his efficiency. He was definitely a great manager, but that makes sense since he was the wisest person that ever lived. And even though he used forced labor, he had enough sense to treat them well, giving them two months for every month they labored. Surely this increased their productivity, and benefited everyone.
I am not sure if he was comcerned with minimizing the environmental impact of the work, but I'm guessing he understood the value of natural resources as well. Earlier we see that Solomon was a student of nature, and knew more about animals than anyone else. Surely he had an understanding of the circle of life and the interdependencies of ecology.
Though no one will ever be as wise as Solomon in both scope and depth, we should seek to be as wise as possible in whatever task that we have been assigned. Wisdom is not the same thing as skills. To me wisdom is the ability to manage all of the knowledge, skills, and resources that apply to our situation for the best possible benefit of everyone involved.
Remember in James God said if any man lacks wisdom let him ask God who gives to all men liberally. So the real key to wisdom is being in touch with the source.
