I love the movie "The Outsiders" and I love the line when Johnny says to Ponyboy that he needs to stay golden. There is so much depth and meaning to that statement. If you haven't seen the movie then check it out or read the book that the movie is based on.

That line came to my mind as I read this verse. There is nothing that the enemy wants more than to corrupt our hearts and take away the purity and beauty that God has given us. We need to stay golden just like Ponyboy was told to do in The Outsiders.
