I imagine that the creators of Veggie Tales left out this part of the story as it would be difficult to make cute - the men, their wives, and their children allbeing thrown into the lions den (because of what the men had done), the lions overpowering them, their bones being crushed; not real sure what Bob the Tomato might say about all that :) lol
