Meaningful Work
people often think tha there is work bad or the talk to themselves by saying something like " my work is meaningless.and ill die having acheived nothing." when i hear or see people doing this i think to myself " now theres someone who is sick and tired of there work". some people find there work a punishment from god. but guys this could not be further from the truth. even before sin entered the world, god gave adam and eve meaning full work to do.
in ephesians 4:17-32 it says were all given a list of actions that chractorize those who belong to christ. written in that list includes the command to work for a living.
the motivatiion for us to work is nt to have wealth but to share something with others. from the bibles perspective work is useful and most fulfilling when it enables us to help others. the apostle paul said " let him labor, working with his hands what is good that he may have something to give him who has need.
the point of this scripture i think would be that our work does have meaning, especialy when we realise that it is god- given and that we please him when we share its fruit with others.
