Dont You Understand
love, forgiveness, mercy, grace, goodness, compassion, kindness, generosity.
who in the world would be against these characteristics? who could could oppose such positive forces in a persons life? you could say in otherwords who could be aggainst christians? who could call christians nasty names, consider then dangerous, and seek to put as much distance as possible between themselves and christians?
who? a lot of people. i have asked myself why do people hate us and i have finally found the answer its because in the christians they alredy know do not observe love, forgiveness, mercy, grace, goodness, compassion, kindness and generosity. they wont see christ and his attributes if were standing in the way. if we have a self-serving agenda or cause, they'll see our hate instead of love, our grudges instead of our forgiveness, our indifference instead of our compassion, our harshness, instead of our goodness. In thessalonials 2:1-12 it says that our lives need to be consistant with the messages we proclaim.
christianity is about christ and his loving, forgiving and compassionate gift of eternal life. if we do anything that erflects anything else gives others the wrong idea. its all about jesus. he is in you let him shine through your life so others can see.
