Overcoming Addiction
I just wanted to add a bit of my testimony. I am 28 years old from Terre Haute, IN and was addicted to methamphetamines for 7 years. Through a crazy turn of events that can only be explained by the power of God I ended up in a christian rehab center in Arizona called Teen Challenge. I gave my life back to Jesus Christ on December 31, 2007 and haven't looked back. I completed the rehab program and have now been sober for almost 20 months which in itself is amazing and I praise God everyday for the strength to continue on this journey. I am now running a drug prevention program for the Teen Challenge in my home town of Terre Haute, IN and am blessed to go speak to youth groups in the area. Praise God for my family who stuck by me the whole way through, the bad and now the good!! God is amazing!!!
