Healing is largely determined by obedience
I find this verse extremely interesting. Now don't get me wrong I do not think that this is saying that if we don't obey God he will not heal. Instead I think it is talking about the fact that in a believers life if we do not obey God the blessings of God and ultimately healing is maybe withheld because those things of the things that drive us to Him. I have seen this many times in our ministries, people are afflicted with different sickness or illness and because they are unwilling to submit to the Lord they continue to suffer. God is more concerned we our relationship with Him than with our physical health. If you desire healing. Begin to obey, then call for the elders of the church. And as them to lay hands on you, (by the way this is a sign of submission and authority), and pray for you and anoint you with oil. See James 5:14
