Chasers of the light
I have a friend who has a dog named Makita. I want a dog, but since that is currently not possible, i live vicariously through my friend a dog-owners life. And i love this dog. One particular point of awesomeness about Makita is that she likes to chase a beam of light. Get out a laser, turn on a flashlight...it's hours of amusement for both Makita and said deemer of the beam. Not only is Makita amazed by the light, but she dives for it, chases it wherever it goes or lands. It's a beautiful analogy of what God is calling us to be: the light of this world. I'd like to think that the more we chase after God, the brighter we become to those living in darkness. May our lives be so spiritually bright that we create chasers of the light.
