How To Treat An Enemy

Just like with most things he says, Jesus blows people out of the water with his declarations concerning proper responses to enemies. Hate and anger were, and still are, two of the most popular ways one is expected to treat his enemy. Jesus commands the opposite! He says love and pray for those who persecute you. Who could deny a heavenly influence on someone who responds this way to viscious hatred?
