More on the same theme from verses 1-3.
Humility.
Sounds so simple and yet so difficult to achieve. We definitely have the "look out for your own interests" part down. I mean that's the first thing that pops into your mind isn't it? What am i going to get out of this? How is this going to benefit me?
But that's the eternal struggle right? Satan started it all off with pride and we all came by it honestly. Which only makes it more important to fight against it and put others first.
It's easier when it's your wife or kids. But what about the friend, neighbor or acquaintance?
The "mind of Christ" is to be okay with the fact that there is no hierarchy. We're all equal. Which means we should all look out for each other as if we were all related somehow. What a concept.
