Honor God above all things
Joseph is in a perfect position to cheat. He is away from family and everyone who believes the same as he does. He has been given power and position. But he knows what is right and wants to honor God so he does everything he can to stay away from Potiphar's wife (see verse 10) while doing his work.
But he comes face to face with a difficult choice and he makes the right decision to run. The bible teaches that we too should flee sexual immorality. No matter how secret our situation seems, God knows when we compromise our faith and sin against him.
Joseph is not willing to compromise his faith to the point where he is willing to lose everything to maintain his integrity before God.
What are we willing to give up in order to maintain our integrity before God? Don't compromise your faith! Honor God in your everyday decisions!
