Obedience to God isn't always easy...
So many of us quickly give over to God the easy things to give in our lives when we come to Jesus, but all of us have some things in our life that require sacrifice and are honestly just hard to do, but obedience to God isn't optional.
God did not tell Abraham to only circumcise males born from this point forward, he told him to back date it. I can imagine the next few days in Abraham's house were quite painful, but he did what God told him to do.
The real blessings from God come when we obey in the hard things!
