What is Forgiveness?

1- Not easy!
2 - Not optional!
3 - It is the centre of Christianity.
4 - Only solution to problem of human sin.
5 - Personally modelled by God.
6 - Affects our spiritual health.

I sinned against you please forgive me.

• Motive
• Glory to God, love for people and benefits to us.
• Memory
• God is even in control of this sinful hurt.
• God has forgiven you so much more.
• God calls you to show compassion.

• Is forgiveness an event or a process?
- Its both.
• Is reconciliation required?
- Not necessarily but better if it is.
• Is forgiveness necessary when we forgive someone?
• Is confession required before I forgive?
- Yes but it is not easy.
