In the wilderness for a reason
When we feel like we are in the wilderness, maybe it is for a reason that we can not see. What if instead of blaming God and questioning the path he is leading us on, we set our gaze on him and continue to move forward and step into everything he has created for us? Maybe God is keeping us from temptation or something that will cause us to turn back to the way we used to be by leading us on the longer, the wilderness road? This period of travel through the Wilderness makes me think of the song "Desert song". This song talks about still praising God when we are in the desert, about still having a reason to worship even though it feels like you are in a dry period of life.
Lord right now i submit my plans for my life to your plans. I am committed to moving forward in you! Guide me through the wilderness into the promise land.
