Broken Bones to Rejoice

Since Joy is related to the Strength of God's Spirit within the believer, in such passages as Nehemiah 8:10, Psalm 21:1, could it not be that Joy is one of God's purposes for His child? As Nehemiah points out, realization of truth will produce mourning. Our "bones are broken" that they may rejoice. This kind of conclusion assumes that true repentance has already occurred, as the entire Psalm speaks about. This appears to give good reason to imitate Christ's attitude in suffering. Hebrews 12:2.
