Each human being is more than just a person. We are all eternal beings. We will all live eternally, either in heaven with Jesus - OR - in hell eternally separated from God.
Just like people once saw Jesus as just a person, but then found out that he is the eternal God, we must not see people as just people. We must see people as potential candidates for eternal citizenship in heaven.
