2 Samuel 6:13-14
After the men who were carrying the Ark of the Lord had done six steps, David sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.

My study Bible makes a note that David offered this sacrifice of praise to God immediately, just six steps, into the journey. How often do we do this? When we are struggling or are in tough times, we quickly go to Him for guidance and direction. We pray that He intervenes. But when things are going well or He answers our prayers, how often do we stop and praise God? I know I certainly couldn’t say it is “every six steps.” Wow, that’s a lot...as it should be! Just something I am thinking and praying about. Thought I would share…
