Do you think this verse means David's infant son went to heaven?

Those who know me know my background. I was born & raised in the WELS Lutheran Church. I've been at GCC for over 2 years now and love it! However, I still struggle with things such as Infant Baptism, etc. I was baptized as a baby and have yet to be baptized as an adult. I'm searching for truth regarding the souls of infants who die. I found this verse because someone told me David's son wasn't baptized and went to heaven. I never had heard that David's son went to heaven. Then I read this verse. Just wondering if others think this verse is implying David's infant son went to heaven. I'm learning that Jesus saves, not baptism! :) However, it takes a long time to work through some of this stuff. After all, I had been an infant baptism person for 33 years before GCC! I think I'm closer to the middle now between infant baptism and adult baptism. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. God Bless! :)
