Jesus and Nicodemus

Nicodemus was an intelligent and well educated man but he still came to Jesus. Here we see, that, no matter how intelligent and well educated we are, we have to come to Jesus with an open mind and heart so he can teach us the truth. We can’t think that it is enough to know everything about the kingdom of God. If we can’t accept Jesus as our savior we are not a real Christian and will not have eternal life. Knowledge is not Salvation. Salvation happens when we look up to Jesus.
Many Christians today have a very Christian looking life and are still totally missing the boat. They live after all the rules and believe in God, but they don’t know Jesus which is really sad. We have to make Jesus more important again.

Nicodemus had the opportunity to send a servant to Jesus, but he came himself. It means that it doesn’t really matter what other people tell us about Jesus, we have to examine him ourselves otherwise we will never really know him.

The kingdom of God is personal and its entrance requirements are repentance and spiritual rebirth.
Only the Holy Spirit gives spiritual rebirth
People don’t enter the kingdom by living a better life, but by being spiritual reborn.
We can not control the work of the Holy Spirit and we can not predict or understand it. We can not control our spiritual rebirth; it is a gift from God through the Holy Spirit.

Our love must be like Jesus´: willingly giving up our own comfort and security so that others might join us in receiving God’s love.

With eternal life we will live for ever. This life is only an introduction to eternal life. We receive eternal life by faith.

Faith: Put your trust and confidence in Jesus that he alone can save you. Put Christ I Charge of your present plans and your eternal destiny. Jesus has the power of Change!

Unbelievers: Those who reject or ignore him completely

We can not save ourselves, we need Jesus!
It is divisive to try to force others to believe our way, let’s focus on what Christ did for us
Your whole spiritual life depends on how you answer this question: Who is Christ? He is God’s Son, the Messiahs and the Savior!
Eternal life begins with spiritual rebirth!
