Name above all names
So we can trust a mac over a pc. we trust nike over a brand you would find at wal-mart. but why do we actually trust these things more then the other? when it comes down to it, we trust them because of there name. When i say "hotel", the first thing i think of is "nice and cozy". but when i say "motel", the first thing i think of is "dirty and cheap". when it comes down to it we trust what is more pleasing to our natural man. but as i was day-dreaming the other day i was thinking. i thought, "wow, i trust my new mac way more than my old pc. what if i trusted God like that". I mean come on people, he is the name above all names. all he's asking for is some trust. The bible also says to cast all your care upon him because he cares for you. that also includes all my trust. Just a thought.....
