The influence of a father

While I am not totally done meditating on this verse, I am struck with a possible meaning. Is the influence of a father so great that our sins enslave our children? They watch us constantly. They look to us to determine how to live. We are a holy sacrament of understanding God. Think about the "secret" sins you commit, do you want your children to enslaved to them as well?
