One Way To Get Healing

Going through my reading plan today I run across these two verses... If I SIMPLY OBEY the Lord and REFUSE to do wrong, then I well receive HEALING from my wounds and EASE from my PAIN.

This is amazing.

It is a promis. He can not back down from this... If I obey my Lord I can receive healing. And my pain will subside.

Are you getting this, o my soul? Are you listening?

God, each day that I stay on the path you have made for me brings me healing for those wounds from the past. The longer I stay on course, the less the pain is. Pretty soon I will realize, I am healed! There is no pain! Not because I have drugged it, dulled it, learned to live with it, ignored it or denied it-- but because you have HEALED it, EASED it, WIPED it away.
