Waiting

Could it be that our feeling that God doesn't speak to us when we pray or answer our prayers that we don't wait long enough to hear them? When we take the time to wait patiently and listen, the Lord will speak to us.

David says that if we wait, we do it expectantly. We can expect God to speak to us if we are willing to wait for it. That doesn't mean that God will speak to us or answer our prayers when and how we want Him to. The act of waiting expectantly is a process where we allow God to mold our hearts as we pray and listen.

Take time out each day to "Be still and know that He is God."
