God prepares us for our work
I too love this verse! It is the Lord who prepares us for the work He has called us to do. David was called to be a Warrior King. God receives the blessing because He made David's hands for war and trained his fingers for battle.
It is sometimes easy, however, to see this as a verse for David, but how does it really apply to me? We must understand that we were made for a purpose. When we recognise what it is we are called to do, then we can rest fully in the confidence that comes with knowing He made us for that exact thing! Then we find peace and prosperity!
