Subtle, polite requests to 'tone down' our faith.
I have a friend on Facebook who regularly puts bold statements about God in his status. Just as frequently there are lists of insults hurled back, along side encouragement from fellow Christians; and in amongst all that there's sometimes a polite message requesting that the status message be 'toned down'.
I believe these polite requests are ones we need to be on our guard against - as these are the ones that encourage us to be luke warm, whereas a direct attack on our faith almost instinctively brings our shields up.
I'm sure the devil's work is in subtle distractions from our faith rather than attempting to drag us away kicking and screaming!
