Something About That Name

As this scripture says, "there is no other name that has or will be given which by we can be saved."

There are many names for Him: Master, Savior, Comforter, Redeemer, El Shaddai, Messiah, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Friend, Healer, Morning Star, Son of God, Good Shepherd, etc etc. But to speak the name of Jesus... the only name which by we can be saved... just the mention of the name is powerful. I don't know about you, but it just gives me this feeling I can't describe when I quiet myself, my thoughts, my emotions - and just whisper the name... Jesus.

For most of my life, His name was just a name I knew. I didn't move me, didn't shake me to my core, didn't feel special upon the mention. Now, it's a sweet sound. Now it is powerful. Now it means something to me. Now I choose to speak it. Now I understand the essence of worship is all because of the wonderful, glorious, beautiful name of Jesus.

There's just something about that name...
