Joseph was young and had an ear for God. His brothers were not honoring of God or their father. They were doing bad things, which makes them bad men. It was natural for them to hate Joseph. Light exposes darkness.

Some would say Joseph was spoiled, immature and arrogant. I say Joseph was a man chasing after God. God revealed the future to Joseph and revelation requires action. Just because his brothers didn't like the truth, does not make Joseph any less the Godly man he was.

When one assumes Joseph arrogant, one needs to look within ones own soul and see if the problem is within you and not Joseph.
