The soul desires affirmation. The question is where do you get your affirmation. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, He has you and will not let you be swept away by the power of the world but will keep you and not let you go. (John 6:38)

However, with the stealth of a predator, satan lures his victims (Romans 6:23) with affirmation and "candy" and has no other intention than to kill and destroy in the end.
