Sin is Extremely Serious
Our sin kills us and more often than not we don't even realize it. Just as Abel's Blood cried out so does our sin, just as it did in Sodom and Gomorrah. But, God is Just and will not kill the rightteous just because they live in the same town as the wicked, or are around the wicked. At one time we were all in need of a saviour. The righteous must live amongst the wicked to be that shinning light, to be the example, to show them the need of a savior and that savior is Christ. For He has covered our sin with His Blood that anyone who accepts His sacrifice and victory, the there sins are covered and kept from crying out. We are part of the few righteous because of Christ's namesake.
In my life I need to be more like Christ when I'm in "Sodom" or "Gomoraah". I need to be righteous and not be like the sinners. I should be off my mark, I need to be an example not an enabler. Christ should be prevalent in my life.
Father I pray you will use me to reach out to everyone in my life everyday, even to those who have put you down or made fun of my beliefs. That I may shine for you and help make disciples so that the few righteous could be found. In Jesus' name.
