God Sees You and He's Taking Notice

The second chapter of Exodus reveals the conditions that the Israelites were living in after their king died. They were forced to perform difficult labor, which caused them to cry out. Their cry reached the heavens and God heard their cry. Once God heard their cry, He remembered the covenant that He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. What I find so powerful in this passage is at verse 25 - "God saw the Israelites, and He took notice."

God chose Moses to help lead the Israelites out of Egypt and eventually into the Promised Land, and God empowered Moses along the way.

I just want to encourage anyone who may be facing a hard time right now. Maybe it's an illness, an unsaved loved one, a troubled marriage, or the current state of our economy. God is concerned about everything that concerns you. 1 Peter 5:7 instructs believers to cast their cares upon Him because He cares about us. Psalm 55:22 promises those who cast their burdens upon the Lord, will be sustained by HIm. God also adds that He will not allow the righteous to be shaken. Remember that all things are possible with God (Mark 10:27).

Consider all the things that Joseph faced. He dealt with jealously from his own siblings. His brothers sold him into slavery. He was thrown into jail despite doing the right thing when faced with temptation. But God brought Joseph through all these things and elevated him into a top position. In the end, he was not even bitter against his brothers. Joseph told his brothers "you planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result-the survival of many people." - Genesis 50:20

So we never know how God is working something out on our behalf. Things may not be happening the way we think it should happen, but remember that "all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). Stop looking at what things look like around you and look to God. Maintain your faith and your integrity and God will not withhold any good thing from you. (Psalm 84:11).

Be reassured in the fact that you serve a mighty God who seesyouand He's taking notice!
