Gentle Wisdom

How amazing that the qualities and distinguishers of wisdom are absolutely gentle! Often we see wisdom trying to be forced onto people in pride and for selfish reasons. However, God never intended for that to be the case. Whether the wisdom is true or not, if it is carried out in the wrong way it is meaningless and not from God. I love to think of God as my Gentle Shepherd. He is never one to assert himself in ways that are harsh and never where he is not wanted. We get to choose him as our own Gentle Shepherd and then we get to see the power in gentleness. Wisdom from God is NEVER harsh or self-serving! How kind of Him to understand that we are better are hearing and receiving wisdom when spoken in kindness. Let us be people that speak wisdom with God's heart! Pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
