The people changed. Jesus loved.
Just image, these people that are yelling out at the top of their lungs to Pilate, "crucify Him, crucify Him." Are the same people who just days before were waving palm branches, who felt it an honor to have the donkey walk across their jackets, while they cried out "hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord." What changed all of the sudden? Even when the people wanted to crucify Jesus and do away with Him, He still loved them just as much as when they sang His praises. That's true love.
